Synopsis
Long Tianyao, a Chinese man, and Veronika, a Russian woman, have entered into a sham marriage — and now must convince everyone in Long Tianyao's home village that it's real, even as each of their actual partners is on the way to the same village. The setting is a Miao village in southern China (Xiangxi, Hunan Province), present day.
